Drawswatch publishes factual information about Australian lottery operators and their regulatory status. Our editorial standards reflect the limited, public sources available to consumers in Victoria.
Sources we accept
We rely on two sources only: operator own filings and the licence register maintained by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC). This approach ensures we report what operators and regulators have formally disclosed. We do not synthesise information from multiple outlets or infer regulatory intent.
Sources we reject
We do not republish from synthetic lottery-betting sites or offshore operators lacking a current local licence. We also reject aggregators that recycle information without a primary source. These three categories present material risks to accuracy. Offshore operators especially may misrepresent their legal standing in Australia.
What triggers an update
- A rules change announced by the operator itself.
- Licence revocation or suspension by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC).
- A factual correction submitted by a reader with supporting evidence.
We do not update for speculation, media reports, or complaints. Regulatory action must come from the VGCCC. Operator changes must be disclosed by the operator.
How we correct mistakes
We fix errors in place and publish a dated correction note at the top of the affected page. Silent edits erode trust. If you spot a mistake, email [email protected] with evidence. We will investigate and respond within five working days.
Questions about our standards or this site's regulatory status should go to [email protected]. For queries about a specific operator's licence, contact the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC).
